Your Child's First Tutorial

We can get started once we have confirmed the day and time for the weekly term-time sessions. I'll carry out a relaxed, initial assessment of your child's skills and confidence to see what is needed to build their path to success. With over 14 years of teaching experience, I know what works and what doesn’t, so I'll quickly identify the gaps that need to be addressed. It's important that that you are ready to have a ‘critical friend’ in your corner, rooting for your child's success!

Feedback for Parents

You'll receive regular feedback on your child's progress with opportunities for adjustments. As an experienced former school teacher, my fees reflect the premium value your child will receive—far beyond just an hourly rate.

Questions you might have around private tuition

When can I book?

Currently full until March 2025.

Please email clare@creativehare.co.uk if you are interested and I will contact you as soon as possible.

Can I book a one-off assessment session?

Yes! You can book a one-off  assessment.

The fee for an assessment ranges from £145 – £290, depending on the assessment focus.

Fee breakdown:

  • Creative Writing: £145.
  • Reading Comprehension: £145.
  • A combination of creative writing and reading comprehension, requiring two sessions: £290.

All assessments include a post-session 45-minute feedback call.

 

Who will fly with my private tuition?

There are two types of students who blossom from my private tutoring experience:

  1. Academically bright and focused students who are prepping for school entrance exams and lack confidence in their abilities. English is often an additional language.
  2.  Academically bright, quiet and thoughtful students who enjoy writing. They want to extend their creative writing skills for academic and personal success.

 

 

When can we expect to see progress?

The results from tuition are cumulative, so you can expect to see progress build over a number of lessons.

However, after your child’s first lesson they are bound to feel proud of their writing, radiating a sense of joy and inner confidence!
