Hi, my name is Clare and I am a qualified teacher & creative writing tutor
After almost a decade of teaching in some of London’s top independent schools, I became a full time private English tutor, practising my winning formula for success: ‘challenge with compassion.’
All schools face the same limitations in the learning environment: time constraints in class, peer pressure, a lack of resources for individual growth and too little time to think and develop ideas.
Children can be lost in such environments where the challenge is presented, but the necessary nurture is lacking. I am able to provide both challenge and compassion, slowing down the creative process, focusing on individualised feedback and empowering children to thrive and achieve their dreams and ambitions.
Learning to be a confident writer boosts exam potential – and future success.
