What's Involved?
Led by Clare, in a small group of 3–4 students, the Year 5 Creative Writing Workshop helps children unlock their creative ideas, vocabulary and build the confidence to structure their writing effectively. The focus is on developing the original expression and organisation that underpin strong performance in exams. Submit your child's work for personalised feedback, highlighting one or two key strengths and a next step target to boost confidence and progress.

Who is the Year 5 11+ Creative Workshop for?
The workshop is for children starting Year 5 in September 2026 and is designed to support those preparing for London independent school entrance exams.
What is the group size?
The workshop is capped at 4 children to keep it engaging and personalised.

Yes. Workshop materials and joining details will be sent by email 24 hours prior to the session.
Workshop duration and next date
The workshop is approximately 75-90 minutes.

To secure your child's place, please book and pay via the website checkout. Places are limited to just 3–4 students per workshop.
What are the workshop outcomes?
Your child will learn how to respond to an exam-style picture prompt with clear structure, descriptive ideas and increasingly confident vocabulary.
Your child will also develop the creative thinking skills needed for success in competitive independent school English exams.
Is feedback included?
Yes. Parents are welcome to submit their child's completed writing after the workshop. Clare will provide personalised feedback, identifying one or two key strengths and one area for development, designed to foster confidence and progress.
Cancellation policy
Workshop bookings are non-refundable. If your child is unable to attend, the booking may be transferred to an alternative workshop date, subject to availability.
