An appropriate English paper will be sent to you for your child to complete independently from the comfort of your home. Once the completed paper has been returned, Clare will carefully review your child's work drawing on her experience as a teacher and 11+ specialist. During your follow-up call, we will discuss your child’s strengths, opportunities for refinement, and whether tutoring would be the most beneficial next step. If you decide to proceed with private tuition, the Initial English Review fee will be fully credited towards your child's tuition.

Learn the essential foundations of sequencing and creative structure so story writing feels structured, confident and natural; key skills for successful 11+ creative writing. In this relaxed, one-to-one course, Clare will show your child how to build a story from the ground up. Designed for students preparing for competitive 11+ exams, the course consists of three, online 60 minute tutorials focused on structuring writing that top schools reward. Through calm guidance, Clare helps children express their ideas, and organise them into a strong story framework. Children leave the course with a repeatable story structure they can use for 11+ narrative prompts.
