Our Mission

We believe the strongest outcomes come from combining structured academic teaching with the development of calm confidence and thinking habits.

Meet Clare, The Founder

I’m Clare, the founder of Creative Hare, established when continuing to tutor children from southwest London following my return to Devon. I spent nine years teaching in the independent sector in London, including Thomas’s London Day Schools, Fulham and Putney High Junior School. I have been tutoring for even longer.

After years of preparing children for top independent schools, I believe that beyond exams, true success lies in  lasting confidence and a love for English. We excel at helping maths-minded children see that their skills can transfer to English. The most wonderful part is we show them that English is a subject that can shape them in ways they never imagined.

Creative Hare has evolved to offer brilliant 11+ writing insight sessions, Year 4 and Year 5 11+ English programmes and regular private tutoring.

If you are a passionate 11+ English tutor who embraces an academic focused and confidence building approach for highly competitive exam preparation, please get in touch – I look forward to hearing from you!
