Our Mission

We believe students succeed in an environment that allows confidence, happiness, and academic skills to flourish.

Meet Clare, The Founder

Hi! I’m Clare, the founder of Creative Hare Tutoring, established when working with South West London families. I live in Devon and whilst continuing to support students in London, we now offer specialist, online 11+ English tuition to students living throughout England.

I spent nine years teaching in the independent sector in London and have been tutoring for even longer. Over the years, I have seen a growing demand for personalised one-to-one tutoring from parents who recognise how it boosts confidence and academic success. This growth has inspired me to create a tutoring community that is not just about covering the 11+ English exam curriculum, but about nurturing the whole child.

I now mainly assess children’s creative writing and advise on readiness for top schools. I also provide exam-focused feedback through the Creative Writing Critique Club, which is new for 2026!

If you are a passionate 11+ English tutor ready to work with wonderful students and you embrace a holistic approach to academic success, please get in touch – I’d love to hear from you.
